About
I started taking piano lessons on the first day of fourth grade and I studied classical and jazz for 9 years, before finding my way to musical theater. While studying labor unions and collective bargaining agreements at Rutgers University, I was spending my time outside of the classroom practicing the score of the student run theatre production that I was playing. My collegiate career was ignited when I was cast as Mary in [title of show], and as a result I became involved in music directing and accompanying other musicals throughout my time at Rutgers. Additional theatre credits include Assistant Music Director/Keys I in Avenue Q, Co-Music Director of Bare: A Pop Opera, and Assistant Music Director for the Walnut Theatre's Camp Walnut.
Over the past 3 years I've sat at various intimate and large stages throughout New York City, I've performed at GreenRoom42, The Triad, Don't Tell Mama, as the pre-show opening for The Parlour of Deceptions at The Salmagundi Club of New York, and was featured as 1 of 55 pianists in New York City's Piano Week in the spring of 2024.
