Lauren Burcheri

I grew up playing classical music before finding my way to the pit and stage of Cabaret Theatre, where I played Mary in [title of show], Assistant Music Directed/Keys I in Avenue Q, and co-music directed Bare: A Pop Opera. As a Human Resources professional working in the off-Broadway sector, I feel fulfilled and the most attuned to myself when I am sitting at the keys. I strive to bring the timeless beauty of classical music and the enchanting melodies of musical theatre to life. My journey has taken me to the stage of Green Room 42 for Standing O Serenades' showcase Where Love & Lust Meet, the pre-show for the Parlour of Deceptions at The Salmagundi Club of New York, and being 1 of 55 pianists performing in Piano Week in Greenpoint this past April.
